I first heard about Alabastron through a colleague who is also a friend. Earlier this year I was going through a rough experience and she kept telling me I do not look fine. I had walked out of my marriage.
“Attend the Alabastron Open Day. It will change your life.” She promised me. I really wanted to get better.
I missed the Open Day but she approached me for the next one and I agreed to attend it. I thank God I did! In my mind, I thought it was a counseling session or mentorship. Little did I know!
I had a lot of confusion! I felt judged by the society. Sigh!
I needed something that would change my life, I had just walked out of my marriage and I had a lot of confusion! I felt judged by the society. Sigh! I was in pain! I felt as if I lost five years of my youth to my marriage.
This led me to withdraw from people. It made me avoid some of my close friends. I avoided the common friends I had in my marriage because I felt judged. Eventually, I turned to drinking more alcohol than I used to just to numb the pain. I felt lost and hoped to get some peace. I longed to smile and face each day with my head high.
I signed up for the program since I had made up my mind to get better. I told myself let me try, it might just work for me.

In all honesty, Alabastron helped me find myself. It enabled me forgive myself and find so much peace. Yaaay! Above all I fell in love with myself! I love the woman I wake up to every morning and see in the mirror. Aaaawh!! I am calm, relaxed, and practicing patience each day. I trust God more and believe He is always with me.
